Serving brunch and dinner, the Qeqiit Restaurant (Qeqiit translates to “wild potato”) offers a large selection of delectable options. Tribal-designed blankets and quilted comforters are the perfect remedy for cold winter nights. Local and native art are sold at the gift shop, where there’s a wide variety of tribal jewelry and sterling silver to choose from, as well as many beaded items. The lodge is located next to the 6,000-square-foot Clearwater River Casino which includes a gift shop, full-service restaurant and sports bar. The Clearwater River Lodge features spacious rooms, two suites with Jacuzzi tubs, and an indoor pool and hot tub. For kayakers and rafters, the rapids on the Clearwater are gentle and straightforward, making for smooth sailing through the beauty of the surrounding wilderness. There are also chinook salmon and native cutthroat trout in the summer. One of the top steelhead fishing streams in the Northwest, the river is known for the large steelhead that return to their spawning areas after two years in the ocean. Owned and managed by the Nez Perce Tribe, Clearwater River Lodge is located in Lewiston, Idaho, adjacent to the scenic Clearwater River.
